# Pricing: LEXI Protocol

## Model

- All clearance services are priced in USDC, scoped per jurisdiction set. Customers never need to hold $LEXI.
- One credential covers one cleared jurisdiction, where "cleared" means a licensed professional has co-signed a scoped legal opinion covering it.
- Reliers pay a fixed USDC fee for reliance access: a licence to the gated opinion body plus an on-chain reliance record. Reading public on-chain metadata is free.
- 40% of protocol USDC revenue funds a buyback-and-burn of $LEXI; 60% goes to the protocol treasury. The co-signing professional is not paid from protocol revenue; the protocol retains the firm separately.

## Status

- LEXI is pre-launch. V0 (VARA, Dubai) is targeted for end of August 2026. USDC price points publish here at V0.

## For legal professionals

- Eligibility stake: a USD-pegged $5,000 in $LEXI, operative at token launch.
- Slashing: committee-adjudicated, for proven misconduct only, capped; reliers flag disputes, they do not slash.
